The ABCs of CMN: Back to basics in 2020

With a new year and a new decade upon us, it is time to go back to basics. From Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN) patients and families, to equipment and programs funded with CMN donations, a closer look at the fund-amentals of our non-profit reveals the important role donors play in the health of local children treated at UC Davis Children’s Hospital.

Notice the CMN balloon on the UC Davis Children’s Hospital sleep sack. CMN donations fund this item which is provided to all patient families to take home.

Since 1983, CMN has been putting kids first … always. Why? Because the mission is to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible. How do we do that? Most of the money Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has raised has been $1 at a time through local Miracle Balloon icon campaigns like the current IHOP campaign which culminates on National Pancake Day, February 25. This fundraiser is just one of the ways CMN at UC Davis helps fill funding gaps. All money stays local so kids in our 33-county service area directly benefit.

As we wind our way through the alphabet, we’ll illustrate how putting your money where the miracles are makes a big difference … no matter how small the donation.
