More than a decade ago, Karen West walked the halls of UC Davis Children’s Hospital as part of a tour sponsored by CMN at UC Davis and her employer, Costco. Since then, Karen has been on a dozen tours of the hospital and has helped raise thousands of dollars for sick and injured children being treated at UC Davis Children’s Hospital. Not only is Karen an advocate for UC Davis Children’s Hospital, but she is also a longtime volunteer for the Folsom Chamber of Commerce and a dedicated ambassador for the Folsom Pro Rodeo. This year, Karen has the honor of being named the 2016 Folsom Pro Rodeo Grand Marshal. If you see Karen out at the popular rodeo July 2-4, be sure to say thank you for all that she does in our community!

Karen, like other local Costco employees, are on the front lines and are making miracles happen for our patients with every ask they make. Last year, local Costco stores in our Sacramento region raised more than $964,000 — sometimes one dollar at a time. Please help us in celebrating not only Karen, but ALL of our ambassadors for their dedication in making a difference.
