Home Visiting in Early Intervention (N)etiquette:
Etiquette is like a code for communities. It prescribes ways for interacting based on respect for other people and the accepted customs of the group.
Our aim for this community of support is to provide a space for reflection, exchange of home visiting experiences and discussion for early intervention home visitors. We have created the following set of guidelines to foster an environment of support, mutual respect, understanding and trust.
These guidelines apply to all user contributions and comments. The moderators of this site reserve the right to remove any postings which do not adhere to these guidelines, or take further action if required.
Community Guidelines:
• If you are sharing a story or experience about a family, friend, colleague, etc., please maintain confidentiality. Use first name only or change the name to ensure others’ privacy. Remember that this is a public site and that anyone using the internet has access to this site.
• Please be polite and respectful toward other members of the community, and remember that others may not always share your point of view. Disruptive, offensive or abusive behavior will not be tolerated.
• You are responsible for any content you post. Where it relates to an existing discussion topic or article, ensure that it is relevant and will prove useful to other members taking part. Please do not post copyrighted material in your messages unless you yourself hold the copyright or have received permission from the author.
• Keep the content of discussions on the topic of early intervention home visiting and related issues.
• Please do not use this blog for self-promotion. This includes advertisements for your own professional services, products etc. In addition, please refrain from promoting political candidates or including web links to sites that support or oppose political candidates.
