The internet (and yes, blogs) is full of information about complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) remedies for a variety of developmental disabilities, allergies, etc. How do you know what is safe? Effective?  The Infant Development Association of CA (IDA) is hosting a breakfast meeting on August 21 in Sacramento. Dr. Scott Akins will review the evidence base for a variety of CAM, as well as discuss talking with parents/caregivers about CAM. Information and registration is on the IDA website.
