Since home visiting delivers services where a family’s life takes place, a home visitor may be confronted with a number of situations in which the child/family needing the services may become distracted with typical household activities including the interactions between family members. Many times, there may be more than one child in the household who needs attention and caring for. Reflect and share on the following:
What challenges have you encountered when home visiting with a child that has a sibling(s)?
What successful strategies have you used when home visiting with a child that has a sibling(s)?
